Privacy Policy

This is a draft template covering the essentials for launch. Have it reviewed by a UAE-qualified lawyer, particularly against the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), before relying on it commercially.
1. What we collect
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- Name, email, and phone number when you book an event, join our mailing list, or apply for matchmaking
- Age, gender, and preferences when you complete a matchmaking or event intake form
- Payment confirmation details from Luma (events) and Ziina (matchmaking, membership) — we do not store your card details
- Basic usage data via analytics tools (see "Cookies & analytics" below)
2. How we use it
- To process and confirm bookings and matchmaking sign-ups
- To match and introduce matchmaking clients based on their stated preferences
- To send you event updates, newsletters, or matchmaking follow-ups (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To improve our events and website based on aggregated usage patterns
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with the service providers that power our operations: Luma (event ticketing), Ziina (payments), and Brevo (email marketing and list management). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and may use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to understand traffic and improve our marketing. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to manage your preferences.
5. Data retention
We retain matchmaking and booking data for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailinghello@justsingledubai.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including relying on reputable payment processors (Luma, Ziina) so we never handle or store your card details ourselves.
